This week our TransitCare social group had the privilege of experiencing one of nature’s greatest spectacles – the Humpback Whale migration from the safe deck of the Spirit of the Gold Coast.
Around 30,000 whales make the 10,000 km round trip each year from the cold Antarctic waters to the warmer northern oceans.
Our group was lucky enough to see five humpbacks up close, playing and performing in the water. The day was carefully planned and hosted so that clients could relax, feel secure and simply enjoy the experience.
For participants, the outing was about much more than whale watching – it was a chance to share something extraordinary with others, build friendships and feel part of a caring community. TransitCare would like to thank the Spirit of Gold Coast crew for their warm hospitality and expert guidance.
