TransitCare is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services to seniors, people with disabilities and those who have difficulty getting around.

Our fleet of vehicles provides door-to-door transport to people in local communities who are unable to get out and about.

We also offer a Social Support programme for those looking to enjoy some time away from home and Home Care packages which include a variety of care and supports.

Today and Thursday, our TransitCare Community Hub celebrate the Queen's Birthday with High Tea and a talk. Our ever so regal ladies frocked up for the occasion, with none looking more "Queenly" than Hub Coordinator, Lisa. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous High Tea lunch and a presentation of "Ladies of Logan" by Dr Hilda Maclean, Historian who talked about the fashions of Logan for the past 150 years. During National Reconciliation Week, TransitCare is proud to be launching its second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Innovate.Our organisation is committed to strengthening respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the traditional custodians of our country and as we work to deliver transport services throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland, we travel across land that has been in their charge for over 60,000 years. This week at TransitCare, we recognised and acknowledged all of our amazing volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week celebrations. We, like so many other organisations, are so very lucky that our volunteers have chosen TransitCare and give many many hours of their time to assist our team members, clients and our communities. We absolutely appreciate everything that you do.
