TransitCare is taking its purpose to a bigger stage, launching the inaugural Transport Equity Summit to tackle the barriers that stop people from getting where they need to go.

To be held in Brisbane on 30 October 2026, the Summit will bring together leaders and experts from transport, government, infrastructure, technology, accessibility, research and community services, alongside people with lived experience, to develop practical solutions to transport disadvantage.

For TransitCare, transport equity is our core business. Every day, we see how age, disability, mobility and where people live can limit their access to work, healthcare, education and their community.

With major transport and infrastructure investment underway for Brisbane 2032, there is an opportunity to change that.

The Summit will challenge delegates to help create a lasting legacy: a transport system that works for every person and every journey.

And delegates won’t just listen. They will work alongside experts in interactive Journey Design Labs to identify barriers, test ideas and develop practical solutions that will contribute to a roadmap for transport equity by 2032 and beyond.

The Transport Equity Summit will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 30 October 2026.
