Community transport is much more than a transport service – it is proven to be a significant enabler of inclusion and wellbeing, providing access to social connection, health services and the necessities of daily life. When transport is difficult and these outings don’t happen, elderly and vulnerable people can experience isolation and poor health outcomes.
TransitCare has been providing high quality community transport to Queenslanders for more than 30 years. A significant portion of our services is via contracts with government and privately-owned organisations who support people with transport disadvantage, due to their age, disability, financial status, health condition or where they live.
