TransitCare services are essential to our community and we will continue to transport our clients as needed.

We remain open for business and transport for general appointments is available. Our Community Flyers will take you to the hospital or the doctors, collect your medications from the pharmacy and take you to the shops, the bank, the post office and other services. To help slow the spread of this virus in the community, the Australian government has ruled that all non-essential gatherings should be limited. In line with this, all TransitCare social support activities have been suspended until further notice. Clients have been contacted and advised of this.

TransitCare takes the health and safety of our community including clients, staff and volunteers very seriously. Please be assured that we have diligent infection control practices and our staff uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitisation. We will continue to review our practices in line with advice from the World Health Organisation and Department of Health.

We encourage all of our clients to closely monitor their own health and follow the advice of the Department of Health and updates from official sources. To prevent the spread of viruses, practise good hygiene and social distancing. If you are unwell please do not book to travel with us.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update our community via our Facebook page, website and through personal phone calls.

If you have any concerns or questions, please call us on 1300 153 636.
